Long known for innovative designs and incredible sound, Focal brings their enormous engineering expertise to surround speakers. The Focal Profile SR-908 is one of the best sounding surround speakers we've heard. Each SR-908 is, in essence, a pair of Focal's amazing Profile 908 bookshelf speakers shoehorned into a small ultra-rigid pyramidal enclosure. Given the SR-908's incredible pedigree, it's not difficult to believe it can create a stunningly large and deep sound stage.

NOTE: We found a misprint in some of our advertising that says the SR-908s are sold as each.  The SR-908s are actually sold as pairs, and the price above is for a pair!

The SR-908 shares the Profile series' silky smooth Al/Mg alloy tweeter and ultra-dynamic W-cone woofers, an intoxicating combination. The Optimum Phase Crossover design ensures the SR-908 remains easy to drive with incredibly holographic and stable imaging. The pyramidal cabinet is very rigid and surprisingly heavy, improving tonality and eliminating vibration and distortion.

The SR-908 is a Bi-Polar design, firing both faces of the speaker simultaneously and in-phase with each other, giving the SR-908 exceptional dynamic range and boosting low frequency output. The pyramidal cabinet and bi-polar alignment creates a sonic "null" point at the midpoint of the SR-908, right between the two pairs of drivers. This makes the SR-908 very difficult to pinpoint in the room as the sound seems to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once, allowing the SR-908 to create true "ambience" from multichannel soundtracks.
