Built on the platform of the $3200 SA-11s2, the SA-15 has the same double bottom plate to keep vibration away from the customized transport. The SA-15 uses the Cirrus Logic CS4397 “Super DAC” for conversion of both the DSD and PCM signals. An audiophile grade, high performance clock prevents jitter and signal distortion for grain free analog warmth. Marantz’ legendary HDAM output stage yields the most dynamic, accurate and musical sonic signature. The cabinet is built in the new Marantz premium design without any visible screws, a heavy double layer chassis and a slightly blue illuminated front. For further sound improvements the D/A converter will utilize a high precision system clock to prevent any distortion from jitter.
